Accounting:
It's in Her Genes

Mandy is a 4th generation accountant – numbers run in her genes. Her on-the-job training started early: when she was fourteen, she began helping her father’s accounting business complete inventory counts and simple bookkeeping tasks for clients. That set her on a path to obtain her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2011. Mandy has worked for medium and large public accounting firms. She began her career at a large international public accounting firm working in Audit and Assurance; Assurance with Private Company Services as well as Real Estate Tax. She later moved to a medium-sized firm where she worked for almost a decade and wore many hats as she completed assurance, tax, and advisory services, along with special projects such as analyzing and advising on purchase and sale transactions, due diligence, valuations and other financial consulting.

Mandy’s passion, strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills have been assets as she had led various charity, community and recruiting events, as well as educational workshops.
